BoardRoom describes itself as a corporate services group that began as Lim Associates Pte Ltd in 1968. Its Singapore head office is at 1 Harbourfront Avenue, Keppel Bay Tower. It lists company secretarial, incorporation, accounting, payroll, tax and share registry services, and no prices. Read on November 2026.

The XBRL service is relevant if your accounts must be filed with ACRA in that format. Our page on XBRL filing explains who needs it. BoardRoom says the service meets ACRA's requirements, but the page read gives no registration number for the firm as a filing agent.

What is BoardRoom's history?

BoardRoom's site says it was established in 1968 as Lim Associates Pte Ltd. It also says it was listed on the Singapore Exchange and was delisted in 2022 when 65 Equity Partners and Tower Capital Asia took it private. The site gives 14 offices across six regions: Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Vietnam, and says it has over 7,300 clients from startups to listed companies. Those are BoardRoom's claims and we have not checked them.

What does BoardRoom charge?

Not published. The pages read list no prices. A useful quote would say:

The fee for each service, written separately.
Whether ACRA fees, such as the S$315 registration fee, are inside the price. See company formation cost.
The fee after the first year for the secretary and accounting.
The name and UEN of the BoardRoom company that contracts with you.

Is BoardRoom an ACRA registered filing agent?

We could not confirm it. The pages read talk about ACRA compliant XBRL work but they do not state a filing agent registration number. We have not checked ACRA's register, so we do not give a status. Search the public list by name and compare with the entity on your engagement letter.

Where is BoardRoom in Singapore?

The head office is 1 Harbourfront Avenue, Keppel Bay Tower #14-07, Singapore 098632. A directory result lists a separate company called Boardroom Corporate & Advisory Services Pte Ltd. Who might BoardRoom suit?

The list of services, which includes share registry and stock plan administration, points toward companies with many shareholders or a listing plan.
