Who pays us
- Corporate service providers and filing agents. Firms that incorporate companies, act as company secretary, supply nominee directors and registered addresses, or keep accounts. If we pass one a request and it turns into paid work, it may pay us a referral fee.
- A featured partner. Bastion Formations pays for a labelled "Featured partner" band at the top of every page. The link carries a sponsored tag. The band is an advertisement, and the facts below it are written without it.
- Service providers after setup. Accountants, payroll firms and tax agents can pay for an introduction in the same way.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. You do not pay us for the quote form, the guides or the comparisons. The price you receive is set by the provider, and you decide whether to accept it.
What does not change
- The facts. Fees, thresholds, deadlines and rules come from ACRA, IRAS, MOM, MAS, IPOS, CPF Board and other official pages, each with a source link and a check date. A partner cannot pay to change a figure.
- Provider prices. We print a provider's price only when it is published on that provider's own page, and we name the provider, the link and the date.
- Our advice. If a provider that pays us nothing fits your case better, the guide says so.
What happens to your request
When you use a quote form, we read it and pass it to suitable providers, which then contact you with options and prices. On a provider's page the form is labelled "Compare quotes". It is ours, not the provider's own form. Ask us at any time which company received your request. How we treat your details is on the privacy page.
We are not an authority
We do not register companies, issue passes or give tax advice. Companies are registered by ACRA, work passes are issued by MOM and tax is run by IRAS. Our about page explains how the guide is checked.
