SingaporeCompanySetupGuide.com explains how to start and run a company in Singapore, for residents and for foreigners. It covers incorporation, work passes, tax, filings and the providers who do the work. It is an independent guide. It is not ACRA, IRAS, MOM, a bank or a corporate service provider.
Why this site exists
Most pages that rank for Singapore company searches belong to firms that sell incorporation. Each page is accurate about the firm's own price and thin on everything else. A founder ends up comparing five tabs with five different totals and no dates.
We put the rules on one page per topic, written from the official source, and show provider prices next to them only when the provider publishes them.
Where the facts come from
- The official body first. ACRA for companies and filing, IRAS for tax, MOM for work passes, MAS for financial licences, IPOS for trademarks, CPF Board for contributions, GoBusiness for licences.
- Bank pages second. Account requirements as published by each bank.
- Provider pages third. A provider price is shown only as published by that provider, with the link and the date. A range needs at least two providers.
If two sources disagree, the page shows both. We never invent a fee, a threshold or a statistic. When a figure is not published, the page says so.
How often we check
Every page shows the date its facts were last checked. Government fees and pass thresholds change, so we recheck the main pages on a rolling basis and update the date when we do. Confirm the current figure with the official body before you pay.
How the guide is paid for
